A.M.A. PROPS

A.M.A. Props is the studio through which I develop commissioned projects, artistic direction, and the production of custom objects and spatial interventions. It is not separate from my artistic practice, but an extension of it. The same material language, the same attention to gesture, texture, and form, applied within collaborative contexts.

At A.M.A. Props, ideas are translated into physical presence. Concepts that begin as sketches, references, or abstract intentions are developed into tangible volumes, surfaces, and environments.

I collaborate with brands, cultural institutions, designers, and production teams who are looking for a distinct artistic vision brought into material form.

Anna Membrive Archs is a prop maker and visual artist based in Barcelona, working at the intersection of fabrication, sculpture, and material research.

Through A.M.A. Props, she develops bespoke objects, props, and sculptural elements for film, advertising, creative direction, and spatial projects. Her work focuses on translating concepts into physical forms, with attention to detail, materiality, and narrative intention.

With a background in Technical Arts and Special Effects from the University of the Arts London, she has experience working within art departments for film and television. This has shaped her understanding of how objects function within a scene — not only as visual elements, but as tools to construct atmosphere, meaning, and belief.

Her approach combines traditional handcraft techniques with contemporary fabrication processes, allowing her to adapt to a wide range of materials and project needs. Each piece is developed in close dialogue with the client, ensuring that the final result aligns both conceptually and technically.
